Manal Enjoys Combining Her Passion For Sport With Her Passion For Community And Charity Work.
Her most prominent work was raising funds to build the first Children Cancer Hospital with the PCRF in 2015 while climbing the highest mountain in Europe , Mount Elbrus , she planted trees around Egypt for her late friend Jalal Bishady while running the China Wall marathon , running the London Marathon in 2019 with Penny Appeal UK and climbing the highest mountain in Australia with Penny Appeal in 2023.
She is passionate about sustainability and doing work around the African Continent.
Her most prominent work in sustainability was working with Monviso Water in 2019.
She also travelled to Ghana with Project Maji to raise awareness about the importance of hand washing.
She enjoys combining her passion for sport with her passion for community and charity work.

Every day, women and girls spend 200 million hours walking to collect water for their families. Access to clean water is a fundamental human right.
Manal also worked with Project Maji in Ghana in 2021 , raising funds to educate and build wells to provide clean water to remote communities in Africa.
To mark Global Handwashing Day on October 15, Project Maji – a Dubai-based safe water enterprise and a finalist for EXPO 2020 Global Best Practice Programme

Manal Rostom, an athlete and a mountaineer, is a warrior for the voiceless children of the world. In her latest expedition, she chose to dedicate herself to the children of Play4Smiles (formerly u smile i smile) for this we are deeply indebted to Manal’s generosity. Play4Smiles launches as a Non-Profit organization in January 2017.
